I am pleased to share a small insight into the 'I Can And I Am' charity and what remarkable impacts it is having. Plus, how they kindly ask me to be a part of it.

Put simply, the heart of the charity is to inspire confidence in every individual to enable them to know who they are and what they are able to do, rather than focusing on what they can’t. James Shone and his exceptional team's mission is to help young people understand how best to respond to serious setbacks, teenage anxiety and a general lack of self-esteem.

Back in 2020, The I Can & I Am team renovated a double-decker bus, which has now enabled them to take the 'show' on the road. A massive step up in their involvement with helping young people. The bus visits schools and universities around the South West. The bus has a fully fitted kitchen downstairs and casual seating upstairs. Enabling a combination of hands-on baking followed by small group workshops to help promote finding ways to talk openly and positively.
Check out James' amazing story and how he started the charity below:
My job was to carry out the interior design and artwork for the bus itself. The eye-level boards, which formerly served as advertisements on the ex-London bus, have now been transformed into a series of inspirational quotes. All of which have an original piece of artwork that complements each quotation. Making a coherent message that helps encourage positivity throughout the space.
